National Food Strategy Advisory Panel 

Dr. Meredith Crowley has been appointed to the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs's (DEFRA) Advisory Panel for a National Food Strategy. This advisory panel of experts from across agriculture, retail, food manufacture, NGOs and academia has today been named to support the development of the National Food Strategy.

UK Government Review of the Economics of Biodiversity 

Prof. Partha Dasgupta has been appointed to lead a UK government review into the link between biodiversity and economic growth. The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer's Spring Statement outlined the estimated £680 million value that 1,500 species of pollinators deliver to the UK economy, highlighting that climate change is not the only environmental challenge.
